Following the recent outbreak of the viral deadly Coronavirus, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has affirmed 5 new instances of coronavirus in Rivers, Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). However, Abuja and Lagos recorded two new cases each, while Rivers State presently has its first coronavirus case. Three out of the 5 new affirmed cases are returning travelers, while two of the voyagers are close contacts of one of the affirmed cases.
Five new instances of Coronavirus COVID19 have been affirmed in Nigeria, with 2 cases in FCT Abuja, 2 cases in Lagos state and 1 case in Rivers state. 3 of the reported cases are returning explorers into Nigeria while 2 are close contacts of an affirmed case.
As at 25th March, there are 51 total affirmed cases, 2 discharged, and 1 demise. However, states that has recorded Coronavirus #Covid19 cases include; Lagos with 32 cases, FCT with 10 cases, Ogun state with 3 cases, Ekiti with 1 case, Oyo with 1 case, Edo with 1 case, Bauchi with 1 case Osun with 1 case and Rivers with 1 case, however bringing the total number to 51 affirmed cases.
