Her real names, Teniola Apata, Popularly known as Teni the Entertainer, and fondly called Teni Makanaki or Teniola Makanaki is unarguably one of the fast rising Nigerian singer and songwriter. She was born on 12th, December, 1992 in Lagos State, South Western part of Nigeria.
Teni hails from Ekiti-State, western region of Nigeria. Teni and Niniola are sibling as Teni the Entertainer is the younger sister to the popular Nigerian female singer, known as Niniola.
Having attended the Apata memorial high school, Teni, proceeded to the American Inter-Continental University where she bagged a degree in Business Administration.
