Coronavirus: Wedding Ceremonies disrupted as Couples Arrested for Violating Lockdown Order in Kaduna
Not less than four wedding ceremonies have been distrupted Kaduna, whereby the bridegrooms were been arrested by the Kaduna state Vigilante Service (KadVS), Zaria Zonal Command. The decision became imperative, following the order of the Kaduna State Government over the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Recall that, on Thursday March 26, the Kaduna state government after closing down schools and placing barn on public gatherings earlier announced a total lockdown throughout the state, in a bid to curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus which has became the major challenge of the Country and the World at large.

The bridegrooms were arrested at different locations which include, Magajiya, Lowcost Estate, Babayo and Bakin Kasuwa settlements which is located at Zaria, Kaduna State.

The zonal Commandant of the KadVS, Zaria command, Malam Bala Galadima confirmed the arrest of the bridegrooms. He further explains, says “It’s true we got the suspect arrested for violating a lockdown order which was instructed by the State government. Tho, they have been handed over to the Police for neccessary action.”
