Nigeria Super Eagles player, Ahmed Musa has denied reports of he and his family which was reported earlier that they tested positive for COVID19.
Musa took to his Instagram handle to share a post, however, debunked the rumor, said he recently returned from Dubai with his family and that they have been in self-isolation since their arrival. He argued that being in self-isolation with his family does not mean they have been infected with the deadly virus as speculated.
”I was aware of some individuals who have decided to disseminate fake news about me testing positive to Coronavirus. This is a pandemic taking peoples lives in thousands so it is sad that some people want to use this to gain followers or views on their pages by spreading false news. My family and I are okay and have not tested positive for the Coronavirus. Please don’t fall for the vicious messages circulating on the internet about me and my family.”
