The Nierian Football Federation NFF had reveal that it made it an overwhelming joy for players and officials of Super Falcons on Wednesday when they paid the team two match bonuses and allowances immediately after their 4-0 victory over Zambia’s Shepolopolo in the African Women’s Cup of Nations in Ghana.
The team has been compensated and paid the bonus for a win over Zambia and that of the qualifier against Gambia, as well as their camping allowances in Abidjan and in the Gambia respectively.
A breakdown showed that a total of $289,650 was doled to the team soon after the victory over Zambia on Wednesday.
The 21 players got over $126,000 as bonuses, with each pocketing $6,000 from the two games. The players also shared $29,000 as allowances for Gambia match and Abidjan camp.
The team will face Equatorial Guinea on Saturday in their final group stage game.
