Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty who was arrested in California for failing to register as a sex offender, pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the charges pressed against him.
Recall that the Nicki minaj’s boyfriend was arrested last week in Los Angeles, after which he was being arraigned before Los Angeles Superior Court.
According to New York’s Sex Offender Registry, under any circumstances should a sex offender notify the Division of Criminal Justice Services and this should be done within 10 days of any change of address or location.
Apparently, the New York state record shows that, Kenneth’s sex offender status stems from year 1995, when he was convicted of attempted rape. Petty was 16 years old at the time of the crime, and served in the appropriate prison for the offense.
However, in November 2019, Petty was reportedly pulled over in Beverly Hills, where officials noticed he had not officially registered as a sex offender in California. According to the previous report by TMZ, Petty was arrested and released on bail of $20,000. After which he reportedly pleaded not guilty to the offense pressed against him, it was less than a day after the charges against him were dropped, following his appearance before the Los Angeles Superior Court, Nicki Minaj’s husband has now finally registered as a sex offender.
