Two Coronavirus patients discharged in Oyo lindaikejisblogTwo COVID19 patients have been discharged today Ibadan, Oyo state, shortly after testing negative to the Coronavirus disease.

According to the NCDC, the patients were tested two times consecutively, so as to be sure about their final status and declare them free of the virus.

The Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde who made the announcement via his twitter handle, said the state has discharged total number of 9 COVID19 patients. However, there are currently 6 confirmed cases of the virus in the state.

He tweeted; (OYO STATE COVID19 TASK FORCE UPDATE AS AT APRIL 19, 2020) Two confirmed COVID-19 patients have been discharged today after receiving their second negative test results. This brings the number of discharged cases in the state to 9, whereby there are currently six active cases in Oyo State.
